What’s required to setup Bimbeats?
There are three main steps in the setup process. Each step is supported by our comprehensive documentation to ensure the process is as smooth as possible. 1. Initialize an Elasticsearch instance (either Hosted or on-premise) 2. Set up a VM server to run Logstash 2. Run the Bimbeats installer MSI
Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored in an Elasticsearch database that you fully own and control. This ensures complete data privacy and flexibility. Need help with setup? We can assist in configuring your database to meet best-practice specs and ensure it’s optimized for performance.
Is Bimbeats GDPR compliant?
Yes. GDPR compliance is built directly into Bimbeats. We prioritize data protection at every level of the product. Because your data is stored in your own Elasticsearch instance, you remain in full control of data access, retention, and deletion. For more details on how Elastic supports GDPR compliance, check out their official documentation.
What’s not included in the price?
The Bimbeats license does not cover the following: Elastic Cloud hosting costs (or your own on-premise Elastic setup).
